Avon Protection is the world leader in respiratory and ballistic protection, delivering life-critical solutions for militaries and first responders. They attend approx. 15 shows a year all over the world showcasing their lifesaving solutions.

Avon Protection and Tecna UK have been working together since 2018.



The Challenge

Coming out of social distancing restrictions and with events opening up, Avon Protection had acquired two new businesses in the interim, and needed to relook at their exhibition show strategy as a result, and more importantly on how they delivered on their objectives for multiple business strands. They already had a T3 stand in one main configuration used for smaller events but with their first post-covid large event coming up fast and no time to create a custom build they needed to have an impactful presence and reflect the company as it is today.

The Solution

Working with their Account Manager, George at Tecna UK and sharing mood boards whilst looking at their existing kit, by adding additional components and new graphics enabled a complete re-invention of their exhibition stand design and feel. Tecna were also able to fully install and solve on-site challenges providing a full turnkey service.

For their next event, last minute changes meant a 6 week lead time and limited budget to create a stand out display. George at Tecna UK was able to scale up their kit whilst reusing graphics they already had in a seamless process which made the stand look impressive and provided excellent ROI.

The Benefits

Avon Protection now have all the elements they need to create multiple re-configurations of their stand for different space sizes from 12-30sqm with minimal additional cost each time. They can also use elements of the kit (eg podiums) to use at smaller table top or pop-up events.
