The challenge: from reliable to unmissable
Dimplex is known for quality and reliability, but after stepping away from exhibitions for a while, they wanted to reignite their presence at industry events. Their goals were clear: create a core exhibition kit that could be reused and adapted across multiple shows, add impact and visibility to stand out in a competitive space, showcase their product range effectively, and maximise return on investment to ensure their budget was used strategically.
Tecna worked with Dimplex to design a modular stand system that balanced flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and brand impact, allowing them to build on their presence year after year.
The solution: a stand that grows with their brand
At the heart of this strategy was a core modular framework, allowing Dimplex to scale their presence across different event sizes, reconfigure layouts to suit different show spaces and product focuses, integrate brand-specific elements such as 3D signage and lighting, and showcase multiple brands within their portfolio.
As the partnership grew, so did the stand. What started as a four-show contract developed into a multi-event collaboration across multiple Dimplex brands, with Tecna providing build, storage, logistics, artwork design, and AV integration.
Engagement and innovation: a stand that works harder
Dimplex’s stand has evolved beyond a traditional product showcase into an interactive experience that drives engagement. Across different events, we have introduced a Batak challenge to create energy and encourage visitor interaction, feature lighting and 3D signage to increase brand visibility, bespoke display cabinets to showcase awards and key products, and live product demonstrations to bring real-world functionality to the stand.
Installer show 2024 – a stand that delivered
At Installer Show 2024, Dimplex took their stand to the next level by opening the layout to improve visitor flow and engagement, dedicating a whole wall to their Xpelair range, and integrating even more bespoke elements such as custom signage and display cabinets. The stand worked from all angles, with live product activations encouraging deeper conversations and engagement.
The result was stronger brand recognition, increased visitor engagement, and a rise in installer sign-ups, proving that an evolving exhibition strategy delivers long-term value.
