Discovery Day | Merit Display

Meet the team from   Merit Display  , a leading full-service provider of Exhibition Stands and Retail Display Units, from strategy and design through to build and fulfilment.  A valued client of Tecna UK, Merit recently took up the opportunity to come to our premises in Farnborough and attend one of our Discovery Days; this is their story.

The Beginnings of a New Discovery

Having worked closely with Tecna UK for many years, the team at Merit Display were pleased to attend a Tecna UK T3 Discovery Day: a multifaceted, interactive training experience and just one of our dedicated training services. The Merit Team were particularly interested in gaining insights into how to get the most out of Tecna UK, as well as deepening their knowledge of the T3 modular display system.

Learning More about Tecna UK and T3

The Merit Display team were hosted in Tecna UK’s dedicated training and showroom facility. Led by Tecna UK’s Director of Sales, Neil Brown, the  Discoverers  were guided through everything from our extensive range of T3 components, to Tecna UK’s services, and hints and tips about building displays and the different graphic substrates.

Something for Everyone

There was a mixture of experience and knowledge within the group of Discoverers, with some having had lots of experience of working with Tecna UK and with T3 as a modular system. However, regardless of the Discoverers’ level of experience, each came away with a heightened understanding of T3 and Tecna UK.

For Nicola Hayden, a Project Manager at Merit Display, it was learning about the different T3 components and how to utilise them to get creative and build more complex, bespoke-looking  displays. For Katie Fearon, a Creative Designer for Merit, it was learning how to mount screens on displays, as well as finding out about Tecna UK’s prebuild service.

Getting Inspired and Interactive

As part of the T3 Discovery Day, the Merit team were given a walking tour of the Tecna UK office and warehouses, a brilliant opportunity to get a closer look at our facilities and meet some of the team. It also allowed them to see our pre-build service in action, where they found some inspiration for future displays.

In the afternoon, they were split into two teams and set the challenge of building a T3 wall in the quickest time. This challenge provided some fun for the attendees and got them all working together with the product, learning as they went. Getting hands-on with T3 in a training capacity is paramount for starting to understand just how imaginative you can be with a set of modular components. The Merit team agrees, appreciating that it gave their newer team members a chance to

“get to grips with T3 in an engaging and interactive way.”

Using their Knowledge for Customers

Having attended their T3 Discovery Day, the attendees are excited to take their newly-acquired knowledge and use it to their customers’ advantage. Indeed, with a deeper understanding of T3 and how to use it to create unique displays with a custom feel, they are confident that, moving forward, they will be able to provide customers with an even better service.
