Montgomery Group, organisers of IFE, are a global events company working across sectors including art, food & drink, and humanitarian aid. They wanted to introduce a revenue generating stand solution for their international clients that would also give them a full turnkey – ‘just turn up experience’ to entice them back after Covid.

The main objective for Montgomery Group’s project was to provide a solution for international clients that a destination could sell on to their stand partners, so that each partner had their own area and branding. This had to be cost-effective but impactful. They wanted to work with a company that would provide a high level of customer service to exhibitors (while reducing extra work for the busy IFE sales team) – so chose to work with Tecna UK.
Through a series of brainstorming meetings with us, they selected a pavilion package – allowing exhibitors to buy a stand package that could be customised with design elements, storage rooms, meeting areas and AV to suit each client’s needs and objectives.
It also provided an additional service for our clients who wanted to attend post Covid but struggled with the cost and logistics of working overseas. As Tecna UK’s base product T3 is a modular system, all stands were able to be dismantled on-site and returned to stock to be reused again, providing a more sustainable option than custom build.
We also liaised with all customers direct as an extension of the IFE sales team, offering not just a ‘one size fits all’ solution and providing room for customers to evolve.
The results were so helpful that the concept was rolled out to Speciality & Fine Fair in September 2022 and then three shows in 2023. For each show, the teams work together to create a package tailored to individual events and exhibitor needs.
