Tecna UK Are Proudly Donating To Charities Across The UK

We're delighted to be giving our hand sanitisers a new lease of life by donating them to charities across the UK with the help of A Good Thing. We have already donated over 500 sanitisers to organisations in need!

With sustainability at the core of everything we do, at Tecna UK we were looking at options to donate products to communities in need. From the aftermath of COVID 19, we had some unused hand sanitiser stands in perfect condition that could make a real difference to charities. Here began a partnership with A Good Thing, to donate our goods to charities across the UK who had a genuine need.

We have already provided donations to:

Merlin – Cornwall’s Neuro Therapy Centre

Opening in 2009, The Centre was a purpose built facility in Cornwall providing therapeutic services to people, initially living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre supports adults, young people and children living with a neurological condition and or a neuro diversity.

Who are A Good Thing?

Tecna UK Charitable Donations

A Good Thing matches wonderful UK charities with businesses that have things to donate: helping charities while providing businesses with an ethical means of disposing of unwanted goods.

All sorts of weird and wonderful items have been saved from landfill, from theatre props, T shirts and stationery to aluminium cans, laptops and candles.

Greetings cards have gone to a project for women in prison. Gorgeous organic blankets have gone to vulnerable new mums. Furniture and paint have gone to a community space. Babygro’s have gone to families of people affected by substance misuse. Bamboo poles have gone to a beautiful community garden.

Absolutely ANYTHING can be donated – by any business, in any part of the country. It takes just 30 seconds to create a free account at www.agoodthing.org.uk/signup if you would like to get involved.

Sustainability is a huge priority here at Tecna UK – both in environmental impact and helping to support wider communities. We will continue to explore opportunities to create more sustainable results across our business. If you're looking for any product donations for your cause please contact us. There's never a bad time to support good causes.
